Nicola Ghalmi

Owner & Lead Instructor – Pole fitness, Aerial Hoop, Pilates, Polesilks, Flexibility training.

Nicola Ghalmi, is the owner of Dance Inspires. She is pole dance and fitness fanatic and just cant get enough of it! She has been teaching the art of pole for over 7 years to thousands of men, women and children.

She says “I am truly blessed to be able to teach pole as a job – seeing everyone’s achievements in class gives myself and my team lots of joy!”

Nicola is a keen competitor and enjoys traveling the country to showcase her skills. A few of her titles include:

  • 2015 Lincolnshire Professional Pole Champion
  • 2014 Kent Professional Pole Champion
  • 2014 British Isles Professional Champion
  • 2015 MPD Finalist & Best Costume
  • 2016 3rd Place IPAAT Professional

Nicola enjoys to continue learning by ensuring that her personal training is kept up to date and that she regularly undertakes courses to develop her skills further. At Dance Inspires, Nicola teaches pole, aerial hoop, stretch, pilates, polesilks, speciality workshops. Nicola is also CRB checked, fully qualified and insured to teach junior/youth.


Natasha Medlin

Pole Dance & Fitness Instructor
Natasha has been poling since 2010, attending various pole schools and workshops depending on her work location, but has always remained a student at Dance Inspires!!
Pole very quickly became addictive and Natasha entered her very first competition as a beginner in 2011.
Natasha loves competing, especially in Doubles Pole, and enjoys the rollercoaster of hard work and enjoyment it brings!
Achievements so far include:
–  Winners of Lincolnshire Pole Championships Doubles 2016
– 3rd place Professional category – LucyPole Cup 2016
– Winners of Doubles category – Pole2Pole Cup 2015
– 2nd place Doubles category – Midlands Pole Championships 2015
– 3rd place Doubles category – Miss Pole Dance Amateur and Semi Pro 2015
Natasha was thrilled to become an Instructor with Dance Inspires in March 2016 and is Qualified as a Spin City Pole Instructor in Beginner and Intermediate levels as well as Polesilks.
Natasha is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist with the Cotswold Academy, having recently attended London to learn more about the sports therapy required for gymnasts and dancers.
Natasha finds teaching so much fun and rewarding and loves seeing how her students grow in confidence and strength, helping them along their individual pole journeys whether it’s for keeping fit or entering competitions!


Amy Furey

Pole Dance & Fitness Instructor & Trainee Hoop Instructor

Amy has been pole dancing since June 2007. She remembers how nervous she felt before her first ever class, but how quickly she fell in love with the sport. She loves the combination of grace, dance, strength and flexibility that pole dancing has to offer.

Amy taught pole for 2 years while she was living in London and says: “I find it incredibly rewarding watching the confidence and strength of my students grow.”

Recently new to Oxford, Amy is excited to join Dance Inspires and create a strong and trusting relationship with her students, in order to encourage and support them during their pole journey.

In her spare time Amy likes to keep active by riding her bike, running and doing yoga. She also loves cooking and has a keen interest in nutrition.

Amy is a qualified Exercise to Music Instructor, First Aider and is insured to teach pole fitness. She also trained in Ballet, Jazz and Tap between the ages of 5-16.
